In this workshop, parents and interested community members will use a trauma-informed lens to consider ways children express emotional disregulation and how adults can respond in ways that promote a regulated and calm state. The workshop facilitator will include strategies for building a sense of belonging, focusing on skills rather than behavior, and using the power of language to engage children in supportive and affirming ways.
