New Position: CLS Director of Development
We are excited to announce that we have created a new position at the CLS! We are hiring a Director of Development who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of the CLS fundraising, including major gifts, annual giving, special events, and campaigns

Parent and Teacher Virtual Literacy Events
Join us for a four session virtual series where we will connect with parents and educators to create a community of learning and support for one another. These sessions will be targeting ways to support the child's reading ,comprehension , and their learning style. Sessions will be instructed by Carlow Alum and ECE Specialist , Jasmine Davis.
Free resources will be available to participants! Sessions will be held 6:30-7:30pm. -
CLS After School Academic Support
Our new After-School programs are designed to allow students opportunities for extracurricular activities, as well as continued learning.
Students will be scheduled for a one (1) hour session, twice a week, between 3:00-6:00 PM for Reading or Math Intervention, or Focused Homework Help. The program will run Monday through Thursday. -
Dyslexia Simulation:
Experience Dyslexia and the daily struggles that people with dyslexia may encounter. Join us for a brief overview and discussion of dyslexia and the dyslexic brain to better understand the learning process for those who are diagnosed with dyslexia. Participants will then take part in a powerful array of simulated activities in the areas of handwriting, spelling, memory, auditory processing, and reading.
